Cleveland Handmade Last Minute Market

by admin on November 10, 2009

Together with our friends, I Made It! Pittsburgh and The Screw Factory Artists, Cleveland Handmade is once again enabling holiday shopping procrastination. The Last Minute Handmade Market will be on Saturday, December 19th, 2009 from 10am-6pm at the Lake Erie Building at the Templar Industrial Park.

Cleveland Handmade is a collective of area artists that sell their work nationally through Etsy. They will be displaying work on the 2nd floor of the building. Works include jewelry, metals, ceramics, textiles, mixed media, paintings, clothing, accessories and more. Visit Cleveland Handmade’s site for a complete list of participating artists.

The Lake Erie Building houses over 20 artist studios on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Nestled in the historic Birdtown area of Lakewood this group of artists opens their studios twice a year to the public. The Screw Factory Artists are opening their doors one more time before Christmas for this special event. A complete list of participating studios will be posted on this site.

I Made It! is a regularly occurring, nomadic Market that provides the opportunity for entrepreneurs to establish their businesses and to enjoy low barriers for bringing their wares to market in order to create successful businesses built on arts and crafts. The Market is an inclusive happening that welcomes artists or other “makers” in the Pittsburgh region to meet like-minded individuals, to create new opportunities, or to find a receptive environment in which to sell new art.

The Lake Erie Building is located at:
13000 Athens Avenue
Lakewood, Ohio, 44107
